10 Drinks that Would be Perfect Tennessee Vols Cocktails
2. Orange Crush
You have got to keep those orange-based drinks in your stash if you are doing the best Tennessee Vols cocktails. Orange crushes are also crowd pleasers and served at plenty of bars and other drinking-oriented events, so why not when you are tailgating to get ready for a Tennessee Volunteers game?
The recipe for the cocktail can be found right here, and it is very similar to many things that have been mentioned on this list already. It just simplifies those things into one drink.
Here it is:
1 and 1/2 parts of any Vodka
2 parts Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
1/2 part Triple Sec
1/2 part Lemon Lime Sparkling Water or Soda
A slice of an orange on top of the glass
Obviously, the orange flavor would come out with this, making it Big Orange Country, and this is not a bitter orange, making it more of a crowd pleaser. Once again, this is a vodka based drink with an orange, but it is much more simple.
This will make it more popular with the masses and with college kids who are of age but inexperienced with mixed drinks along with those who are very health-conscious.
Have this as a summer or a Fall drink and you nor anybody around you will regret it. The Orange crush is refreshing, very tasty, and a bit dangerous if you’re not careful.
So take it in stride with some slow sips, either at your house watching a road football game or getting ready to go to a home game. But be careful with it.
