You’re in Tennessee. That means you can’t ignore moonshine right?
Let’s take a step back into the prohibition era for a minute and bring it in with some Roberson’s Tennessee MelloMoon Moonshine from the Bristol-Kingsport area in Piney Flats. The recipe, which you can see on this page, is as simple as it could be:
2 Parts MelloMoon Peach Shine,
4 Parts of Frozen Orange Juice concentrated and defrosted

Betsided
That’s right. It’s simply orang juice and MelloMoon Peach. You can’t get much better when it comes to drinking before a football game. Of course, if you have acid reflux issues, this may not be the best thing for you to try.
But if you’re trying to imagine how this tastes, picture a screwdriver, and improve the taste by 1,000. That’s what this would be.
Obviously, like any moonshine claim in Tennessee, this is not real moonshine. We just like to call it that.
But hey, it would still taste pretty awesome. And as long as you are smart with how you mix it and do what you are supposed to do, there is no reason to fear a deceptive amount of alcohol in it. You just have to be careful not to drink too many of these, just like you would be with any cocktail you tried out.
This is a brunch drink, so if you’re tailgating early for a night game or making brunch with friends at the house before you head over to the stadium, this would be your go-to move.
