He has battled injuries the past two years but appears to be fully returned to form according to multiple reports, and that obviously should mean a monster season for him. Mayo’s role will also increase with the secondary taking a bit of a hit.</p><div class=

Despite his injury, Mayo played a role anyway in the Patriots Super Bowl run through his leadership. If Mayo’s knee is fully healthy, he is apparently studying lots of film as well, so he should be that perfect mix of ridiculously athletic, strong, and smart at linebacker. As a likely captain, he has already shown a lot of this.

Mayo has reportedly laid some tough hits on Gronkowski, and he also appears to be extremely fresh after missing minicamps earlier this year. All of this together should help him return to form as one of the elite players on the team, and with his body returning to form and catching up with his mind, expect for him to make a lot of headlines once again in the NFL.

And he will be the best Vol in the NFL with one major exception.
