player. 35.
This is an extremely risky pick, particularly since there is a very strong chance that Marcus Mariota becomes a bust. But this is based on what Justin Hunter has shown the potential to be through two years in the NFL already and what Mariota might be if he is half as good as his teammates are saying right now.

Hunter has been cursed with terrible quarterback play through his first two years and constant injuries at the position that kept it in turmoil, but he still had 498 receiving yards and three touchdowns last year following 354 yards and four touchdowns the year before.

One big advantage for him is that Mariota is a spread offense, mobile quarterback, and even though those guys turn out to be major busts in the long-term, they usually have a great first year in the NFL before teams figure them out. This could be Mariota’s great first year.

Add in Ken Whisenhunt’s offensive genius, and you have a pretty solid foundation there that should allow Hunter to shine. All the reports show that the Titans want to make him the main, go-to guy. This year is his chance to live up to those expectations.

And Hunter is his perfect safety target for Mariota. At 6’4″ 203 pounds, we all know just how great Hunter can be in the NFL in the right situation. This year, he should be in that right situation.

As a result, it will be enough for a solid breakout season.
. Wide Receiver. Tennessee Titans. Justin Hunter. 10
