Jason Witten. 5. player. 123.
Here is a case where age is just a number. Jason Witten is not exactly what he used to be at tight end. But the 12-year NFL veteran is still an elite player, and falling off from greatest tight end of all time skills to just great tight end skills is nothing to really worry about. That is where Witten is at.

The Dallas Cowboys are obviously loaded this year from a talent perspective, which is another thing to help Witten. The deep and dominant offensive line allows him to play a little bit more freely now and does not require him to block as heavily, although he is still an amazing blocker. That’s one of the things that puts him on the list.

Witten is also still an incredible mismatch as a receiving tight end that is unparalleled in the NFL right now. He still deserves the best tight end in the NFL title. At 6’6″ 263 pounds, his 703 yards and five touchdowns last year were considered a down year.

That is an elite year for most tight ends, which makes this hilarious.

But what will keep Jason Witten relevant is the mix of his elite blocking skills and his receiving along with the fact that he does not have to block as much this year, which will allow Jason Garrett to save him and keep him from getting hurt. As long as that happens, he should remain a superstar tight end in the NFL, and thanks to the executive moves recently by the Jones family, he has some help up front.
. Tight End. Dallas Cowboys
