3. player. 124.
Eric Berry’s story is a great story, and we have already heard all about that. But now let’s get back to the football field, just as he fought so hard to do being the champion that he is. Despite all of the things that have held him back, when he is on the field, Berry has a case to be the best safety in the NFL.

And it may take him a little bit, but he will return to form and become once again the best safety in the NFL. The 6’0″ 211 pound defensive back had three interceptions in 2013 and returned two for touchdowns, and through the first six games last year before he was sidelined he had quarterbacks terrified of throwing his way.

Now, fully recovered, Berry should be back to laying really hard hits, snagging interceptions, and returning turnovers for touchdowns and to set up great field position. This is one of the rarest elite athletes who can play up as almost a linebacker, play cornerback, or line up at safety. He will be back to doing all of those things.

And through his attitude and his leadership, he will once again be elite. Eric Berry has been a Pro-Bowl player every full year he has started with the Chiefs, and missing the 2011 season and the second half of the 2014 season should have no impact on what he will be able to do going into this year.

Expect Berry to be a superstar again and to revive the entire Kansas City Chiefs football team.
. Safety. Kansas City Chiefs. Eric Berry
