Sticking with games both teams desperately want to win, we now move onto the South Carolina Gamecocks at No. 3, another SEC East team that could be looking to win the division if a few chips fall the right way.

    • The Gamecocks will be working hard to win this game after losing the last two in heartbreaking fashion. Meanwhile, this is two-fold for the Vols.

    Yes, it is an SEC East match-up, leaving much to gain from the perspective of that if they can remain in the division race. But this is also a home game in which there is a good bit to gain and a lot to lose from this loss in terms of having a successful season.

    For Tennessee right now, you have four circled wins and a probable win, so running the table should get them to five wins. To make sure they improve upon this season, they also have to win those winnable home games, which includes Arkansas, who is already on the list. The other team is South Carolina.

    And being an SEC East match-up, that bumps them up to No. 3 on this spot. Beating the Gamecocks at home would be a huge step closer for the Vols in their quest to improve upon last year. If they lose this game, there are a number of ways the season could take a downward slide.

    So the Butch Jones ownership of Steve Spurrier must continue, which makes this a very important game.
