It’s not often that a team wins, but drops 12 places in the polls.
But that’s exactly what happened to Auburn after they needed overtime to get past Jacksonville State last Saturday.
Auburn quarterback Jeremy Johnson has not had a good start to his season. He’s thrown five interceptions in two games.
When you combine that stat with the fact that Auburn is 1-10 all-time in Baton Rouge (and are currently riding a seven game losing streak in Death Valley), it doesn’t bode well for the Tigers from Alabama on Saturday.
Auburn does have one thing going for them — at least it’s not a night game.
