Vols’ Evan Berry With Incredible Kickoff Return Against Western Carolina

With his brother, former Vols defensive back Eric Berry, in the house, Tennessee’s Evan Berry took an adventurous route to return a kick 88 yards for a touchdown.   

The Tennessee Vols had their way with Western Carolina in the first half of Saturday night’s matchup. Evan Berry made sure to put an exclamation point on the first half, returning a kickoff 88 yards for the score.

What was incredible was the fact that sophomore Evan Berry was essentially tackled, but somehow spun free and sprinted to the end zone.

The return touchdown was the first of Berry’s career.

His older brother Eric, who returned to the NFL this season after beating cancer, was on the sidelines to witness his younger brother’s moment in the spotlight.

The Vols took a 41-3 lead into the locker room at halftime.
