The Tennessee Vols will be without senior wide receiver Pig Howard on Saturday against the Florida Gators.
Butch Jones said earlier this week that Howard would be “limited” against Florida. Apparently it was deemed that he wouldn’t be able to play.
Howard, who missed the season opener against Bowling Green due to suspension, has only one catch for eight yards in two games this season. He also has 13 rushing yards on two carries.
The Vols will rely heavily on Von Pearson and Johnathon Johnson in the slot in Howard’s absence.
