What we will point out is that Georgia’s offense is in an unfortunate situation. The injury to Nick Chubb was exposed this past weekend. Sony Michel is a competent back but he cannot cover for the biggest weakness Greyson Lambert has, which is throwing against a pass rush.

And for the third weekend in a row, Lambert showed himself to be absolutely pathetic against such a pass rush, which is something the Missouri defense has always had.

Now, going forward, the Georgia Bulldogs get an off-week, but then they will face the fourth straight team with an elite pass rush in the Florida Gators. Mark Richt and Co. had better find a way to offset that. Otherwise, they will get blown out.

But luckily, after that, they should win their final four games. Still, if they want to get to Atlanta, they have to win out. And finding a way to beat Florida will be difficult.

Georgia Bulldogs 5-2 (3-2)

Last week: Defeated Missouri Tigers 9-6
Last rank: 9

For three weeks in a row, the Georgia Bulldogs have been thoroughly exposed. And while they had to be happy to get back on track with a victory over the Missouri Tigers, the 9-6 win actually significantly dropped them in these power rankings.

We are not giving the defense credit for how they played. Missouri’s back-up quarterback was in, and the Tigers have looked awful all year.
