2B. Kentucky: Use the Crowd Noise as Much as Possible
The Kentucky Wildcats defense is in all likelihood going to struggle significantly when they go up against Joshua Dobbs. Their best home is for him and the Tennessee Vols offense to make mistakes.
And the best way for Tennessee to make mistakes on offense is for the Kentucky fans to do their part.
Despite all the hype of being a basketball town, Kentucky has clearly shown that it is now a football town through and through as well given how loyal and loud their fans have been at Commonwealth Stadium.
That place has proven itself to clearly be a place teams do not want to visit. And it’s safe to say that, with the exception of the Auburn Tigers, the defense has been a heck of a lot better at home than it has on the road.

So, against a spread offense team that will use a mobile quarterback to run a lot of complex plays, the best response is for the fans to do their job. It’s not a guarantee of anything.
But at least the crowd could give their defense a chance, depending on whether or not Butch Jones and the Tennessee offense can work to control the noise.
This is an SEC team that gets loud like an SEC team in football, even if basketball is the major focus. Why not use that to your advantage as much as possible? Kentucky needs a few gimmicks and promotions to make sure their fans are as loud as possible Saturday. That just might be enough to stop Dobbs.
