The Rock Painted To Honor Vols Seniors
By Zach Ragan
Saturday is senior day at Tennessee and the traditionally painted rock on campus is honoring a couple of the Vols’ seniors.
Redshirt seniors Max Arnold and Brian Randolph, along with head coach Butch Jones, made their way onto the rock, thanks to the creative artistry of Payton Marie Miller.
According to Tennessee’s official website, the Vols have 16 seniors that will be moving on after this season.
That’s not very many seniors to be honest. Which is great news for the 2016 version of the Volunteers, a year in which a lot of fans and analysts believe that Tennessee will be one of the teams to be in the SEC.
The seniors who will take the field at Neyland for the final time on Saturday have had a rough tenure at Tennessee. All of them played in a bowl game for the first time last season.
But one thing these seniors will always carry with them is the fact that they’re the beginning of the turnaround at UT.
