Right Tackle

1. Antone Davis

A unanimous All-American and a leader on the offensive line of back to back SEC Champions, Antone Davis was a star of the Vols at the turn of the decade from the 1980s to the 1990s.

Davis’s blocking on the right side as a full-time starter for two years allowed for running backs Chuck Webb and eventually Tony Thompson have some of the most productive rushes in Tennessee football history, and he did his part to keep Andy Kelly upright during those two years as well.

An eventual NFL Draft pick, Davis enjoyed a nine-year career, and he also gained recognition for going on The Biggest Loser just a few years ago. He is a true Vol and one of the greatest linemen in Tennessee history.

2. Dick Huffman

A star in college, in the NFL, and in Canada, Dick Huffman represented Tennessee well throughout his career as a football player. Huffman took a break in his college career to serve in World War II, and in his return, he made his mark on Tennessee football history.

As a 1946 All-American, he led the Vols to an SEC Championship. The last time he had played for the Vols before then, in 1942, he also led them to an SEC title.

He then went on to enjoy a successful professional career, making a Pro Bowl in the NFL and then becoming a six-time Canadian Football League All-Star.
