Who Vols Fans Should Root For: Ohio Bobcats

This is another match-up similar to the first bowl game, but there is one plus for the Vols rooting for Ohio: the Bobcats played the Bowling Green Falcons.

Since Tennessee beat the MAC champs 59-30 early in the year, Vols fans want anything that will help Bowling Green look better, even in the slightest way.

That is the only slight connection there is in this game to the Vols, so fans might as well use that reason to root for the Bobcats. An Ohio win improves Bowling Green’s strength of schedule, thereby improving Tennessee’s strength of schedule.

It particularly makes the Vols look good since the Falcons beat the Bobcats 62-24 on the year as well.
