Four-Star Linebacker Commits To Georgia Over Vols
By Zach Ragan
A couple of days after naming Tennessee as one of his top schools, four-star inside linebacker Breon Dixon committed to the Georgia Bulldogs.
Dixon’s announcement came via a Christmas day video with his family clad in Georgia gear.
The Suwanee, GA (Peachtree Ridge) native told Rivals.com that he wanted to go to school at a place where he could “leave a legacy and a mark”.
Dixon didn’t received a scholarship offer from Georgia until former Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart took over as a head coach in Athens.
247Sports rates Dixon as the 30th best 2017 player in the state of Georgia and the 271st best overall 2017 player in the nation.
