Tennessee Volunteers running back Jalen Hurd showed just how hard he is to tackle with amazing runs in the Outback Bowl against the Northwestern Wildcats.

Remember when somebody called Jalen Hurd lazy?

We won’t name names, but there’s rumors it was a Vol legend who said it. The sophomore running back showed he is anything but that in the Outback Bowl against the Northwestern Wildcats.

Hurd had two amazing runs where he broke sure tackles. All it showed is that if you try to bring him down, he will simply bring you down instead.

With the Vols up on the Wildcats 24-6, Hurd first threw down a tackler in what should have been a loss of yardage for Tennessee on this play right here.

And on the very next play, he broke off another run while breaking another tackle in the backfield.

Simply put, Hurd is a beast. Who is Chuck Norris again? Forget about his toughness.

Hurd is the real danger to anybody daring to oppose him. Tennessee scored a touchdown on that drive to go up on the Northwestern Wildcats 31-6.

And it was all thanks to two great runs by a sophomore running back who will be back next year. Hurd could shatter Tennessee rushing records by the time he leaves, already posting back to back 1,000 yard rushing season.
