Reports suggest Tennessee football running back Alvin Kamara has told teammates he will return to the Volunteers for 2016 instead of entering the NFL Draft.
Alvin Kamara has until midnight on tonight to declare his intentions to enter the NFL Draft. If he doesn’t, he will come back to the Vols for another year.

And that would make for an incredible week for Tennessee football given the fact that Jalen Reeves-Maybin and Cameron Sutton both announced their intentions to return to Tennessee last week.
The best part is that all signs point to Kamara coming back.
According to a Jimmy Hyams of The Sports Animal at WNML AM-FM in Knoxville, Kamara has apparently already old teammates his plans to return.
If he comes back, Tennessee will have extremely high expectations going into 2016, something that they already have given many of the offseason events that have worked in their favor.
But Kamara is a huge element to the offense, and he is a hard weapon to replace given the mismatch that he and Jalen Hurd together bring in a rushing attack as teammates.
Even more important than the recruiting trail for the Vols is the return of Kamara because if he does say he’s returning, the Vols are the clear-cut SEC East favorites and definitely in contention to win the national championship in 2016.

Just imagine how great of a January it would be if every weapon decided to return to the Vols right on the heels of their first Top 25 finish since the end of the 2007-2008 season.
The signs are pointing to great news for the Vols at this point. Let’s hope Kamara brings good news before the end of the night.
