Denver Broncos punter Britton Colquitt sang Rocky Top on camera as he prepares for the Super Bowl. He played for the Tennessee Volunteers from 2005 to 2008.

It might be Super Bowl week for the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers, but that doesn’t mean there’s a shortage of time to talk about Tennessee out west.

Former Vols punter, and current Denver Bronco, Britton Colquitt was asked to sing Rocky Top on Monday night at his media appearance and he obliged.

Not bad, but I don’t think Colquitt needs to give up his day job as a punter in the NFL.

The Knoxville native will be playing in his second career Super Bowl on Sunday night.

Colquitt punted twice in his previous Super Bowl, once for 31 yards and once for 29 yards (one of those punts was downed inside the 20). The Broncos, however, came up short against the Seahawks in Super Bowl 48.

There are four former Vols playing in Super Bowl 50. Colquitt, Peyton Manning and Malik Jackson for the Broncos and Chris Scott for the Panthers.
