Happy Cinco de Mayo everybody! It’s May 5, and that means margaritas, tacos, and lots of partying for people celebrating a holiday they have no idea about.

But just to make southerners heads explode, although the battle that Cinco de Mayo commemorates was between the Mexican and the French, I argued in college that it played a crucial role in helping the Union win the American Civil War.

Recruiting continues for the Vols, and they are getting more and more exciting news in that realm by the day. Also, the Lady Vols have a new opponent already on their schedule.
