Retired Broncos and Colts quarterback Peyton Manning is the theme of new “Oatmaha” beer, which is made from local breweries in Indianapolis and Denver.

Peyton Manning’s Hall of Fame NFL career can be characterized by many things, and if he is a smart businessman he has trademarked all of them.

One of those was his use of the word “Omaha” when changing a play at the line of scrimmage.

And now local breweries from the two cities that he spent his career in have joined together to cash in on that term.

According to The Denver Post, a new beer called “Oatmaha” is themed in Manning’s honor.

"Oatmaha, a collaboration between Denver’s Factotum Brewhouse and Indianapolis’ Tow Yard Brewing Co., will be released in cans starting Friday. The limited-edition cans will only be available in the Factotum taproom and will cost $15 per six-pack."

Colts fans and Broncos fans will likely come together in loving this, even though for some reason it’s only being sold in Denver at first.

It probably won’t be long before Manning is in a commercial endorsing the beer himself, although based on his Super Bowl postgame interview and other interviews he’s given, he seems to be a hardcore Budweiser fan, or at least Bud Light.

Can Manning add another beer to his chicken parmesan and Budwesier palate? Well, he’s retired now, so he might as well.
