Hey, at least it’s not about the circus that is this year’s presidential election.
Butch Jones has the Vols working around the clock to get ready for the season. The players, meanwhile, appear unwilling to relax.
And as he gets the football team set for this year, Jones and the coaching staff are continuing to think about next year and beyond, evidenced by their recruiting.

"The top-100 running back from Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, Tenn., announced Monday afternoon that he has committed to Tennessee, giving the Vols one of their longtime top targets and the elite running back they had been seeking in the 2017 class.The 5-foot-11.5, 195-pound Chandler chose Tennessee over Ole Miss,giving the Vols their 24th commitment for the 2017 class and turning down the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of his father, former Rebels running back Chico Chandler."

Joshua Dobbs named to Manning Award Watch List – UTSports
"The list includes 30 of the top quarterbacks in the nation heading into the 2016 season. The winner will again be selected by a voting panel, which includes national media and each of the Mannings, after the bowls.Dobbs is also on the preseason watch lists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, the CFPA National Performer of the Year award, the Walter Camp Player of the Year award, the Maxwell Award, the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award and the Wuerffel Trophy."
