Here are the things on Rocky Top you need to know for Wednesday.

Paul Finebaum says Josh Dobbs could win the Heisman – Brad Crawford of 247Sports

"Now that Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs seems to have conquered his early struggles with consistency with back-to-back big-time performances against Top 25 competition in a national setting, don’t rule out the senior for the nation’s top honor, he says.“In my mind, Lamar Jackson has been the best player in college football, but I’ll mention (Ohio State quarterback) J.T. Barrett because he has the high-profile games coming down the stretch and there will be no game he can shine more than against Michigan,” Finebaum said during Tuesday’s appearance on Mike & Mike. “I think you have to go with him right now. I will say, not to contradict myself, but if Josh Dobbs can gets through he next two weeks, you have to give him some consideration.”"

Kahlil McKenzie: Vols fan base ‘fuels us’ even when booing – Mike Griffith of SEC Country

"Tennessee defensive tackle Khalil McKenzie, son of former Vols linebacker and current Oakland general manager Reggie McKenzie, said the players can feel the energy.“You get a solid amount of (praise), the `good jobs,’ the `thank yous, you guys are doing a great job,’ it’s cool that people appreciate you,” Mckenzie said. “You get some people that look like they are about to break down into tears. It’s cool to see the people care that much.”"

Deon Grant named a member to SEC Legends Class – SECSports

"Tennessee defensive back Deon Grant had eyes for the football during his years on Rocky Top, totaling 14 interceptions and 141 tackles in a standout career for the Volunteers. The All-American defensive back had multiple interceptions in three different games during his junior season of 1999, finishing with nine picks and 167 return yards on the season to tie for the lead in the NCAA.Grant helped lead the Vols to the inaugural BCS National Championship in 1998. He remains the last Vol to intercept three passes in a game as he accomplished the feat on Oct. 2, 1999 vs. Auburn."

Lady Vols report – UTSports

"Fifth year Tennessee head coach Holly Warlick met with the media Tuesday afternoon, sharing her thoughts on the 2016-17 Lady Vol basketball team’s first preseason workout a day earlier.Warlick welcomes back eight letterwinners from a year ago, including four starters, from a 22-14 squad that closed the year with the team’s third NCAA Elite appearance in the last four seasons. Warlick, 108-34 entering her fifth season as head coach, is one of only two NCAA Division I women’s basketball coaches to take three squads to Elite Eights in her first four seasons as a head coach.
