Joshua Dobbs on an awards list, Preston Williams’s release, volleyball, and golf headline the Volunteers updates on Rocky Top for Friday, Oct. 14, 2016.

Happy Friday to everybody! Alabama weekend is here on Rocky Top! And Vols fans are ready to go for the biggest game of the year.

At this point, Tennessee-Alabama is a one-game season for the Vols considering the back end of their schedule and the fact that they have a bye after this game. So Butch Jones and the coaching staff are likely to pull out everything they’ve got.

Meanwhile, there is some individual football news to get to this morning. Some of it is good, but some of it is unfortunate.

Also, we have some other sports on campus to cover.

But, as always, let’s start with football.
