Tennessee football’s rush defense, Marcus Tatum, women’s basketball, and soccer headline the Volunteers updates on Rocky Top for Friday, Oct. 28, 2016.

Happy Friday to everybody on Rocky Top, and Happy Halloween weekend as well! This is the perfect time of year in the Smoky Mountains, when everything turns just as orange as the jerseys that the Vols are wearing.

And there’s some pretty exciting football going on at the same time.

As we get set to bring you the news around Rocky Top to get you ready for the weekend, football is still king right now, and it’s the No. 1 thing we’re talking about.

But part of the reason this time of year is so exciting is due to the other sports as well. Basketball is arriving, and we’re also in the heart of the other Fall sports.

So Lady Vols basketball and Soccer are also a part of our news today. We’ll get to them after football.
