Tennessee football defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers 38-24 in the Music City Bowl. Here is the photo gallery from the Volunteers’ victory.
There were many memorable moments from Tennessee football’s 38-24 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Music City Bowl. The Vols finished 9-4 and, despite a bittersweet finish, had a fun day in Nashville.
They may not have gotten the finish to the season they wanted at the beginning of the year, but a second straight 9-4 finish counts for something considering where the program was at.
And Joshua Dobbs and Derek Barnett were able to deliver encores in what was likely the final game for both players.
So overall, despite a disappointing season, it was a nice win to see in Tennessee. And Butch Jones did a good job keeping his players focused.
Vols fans had to also be happy about avenging two bad losses to Nebraska in the 1990s. They finally got one against the program.
