Tennessee football had two showings in ESPN Expert Todd McShay’s second Mock NFL Draft. Volunteers Derek Barnett and Alvin Kamara are in his first round.

According to Todd McShay, the Tennessee Vols will have more players go in the first round if this year’s NFL Draft than they had in each of the previous two drafts combined.

Of course, to be fair, even one guy going in the first round would be more. McShay’s second NFL Mock Draft was released on ESPN Wednesday morning, and he had Derek Barnett and Alvin Kamara in his first round. The Detroit Lions were Barnett’s team at No. 21, and the Green Bay Packers were Kamara’s team at No. 29.

Although it’s an ESPN Insider article, SEC Country got hold of it and revealed that he has 15 players overall going in the first round.

Even with this draft board, though, McShay is still wrong about Barnett.

He had Myles Garrett going No. 1 to the Cleveland Browns and Jonathan Allen going No. 3 to the Chicago Bears.

So Barnett, despite being a first-rounder, is still being overlooked. He proved time and time again to be better than both those guys!

He’d be great going to Detroit, though, and would help add some edge to that team on defense, edge they lost with Jim Schwartz and Ndamukong Suh no longer there.

Kamara going to the Packers, though, is a very good move. He would fit in well as a dynamic playmaker in their offense, and that is something Aaron Rodgers desperately needs.

But the big story is that he, like everybody else, is missing on Barnett. The Brown will be wrong again if they take Garrett over him.

And everybody will be laughing about that pick down the road. Book it! Barnett should be the first defensive player to go in the NFL Draft.
