Tennessee basketball is set to travel to Rupp Arena to face the No. 13 ranked Kentucky Wildcats Tuesday night. Here is the preview for the UT Volunteers.

After delivering a huge blow to their NCAA Tournament chances by blowing a 14-point lead at home to the Georgia Bulldogs, Tennessee basketball is now in line for a rematch against the most difficult team on its schedule.

Rick Barnes’s group have to face John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats again after stunning them in Knoxville three weeks ago.

The win got the Vols on a roll and put them into the NCAA Tournament conversation, but the loss seems to have unraveled Kentucky, which has struggled in numerous games since.

Tennessee hasn’t won in Lexington since 2006, back in the Chris Lofton days and when it was Bruce Pearl’s first year as head coach of the program. A win tonight would put them back on the NCAA Tournament map, but it will be extremely tough.

Here is the information you need for the game.

Tennessee Volunteers at No. 13 Kentucky Wildcats

When: Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. E.T.

Where: Rupp Arena; Lexington, Ky.

TV: ESPN

Live Stream: WatchESPN

Line: Kentucky -14

The Vols took a huge drop in the RPI after losing to Georgia, and they are now fighting for their life just to stay in the Top 50.

With a 14-11 record overall and 6-6 SEC record, things do get easier for them after this game. But they could still use one more quality win for their NCAA Tournament resume.

And this would obviously be a good one.
