Tennessee football recruiting continued on Wednesday as the Volunteers offered three-star North Carolina Tight End Andrew Tuazama for their 2018 class.

Less than 12 hours after news broke that the Vols were losing their wide receivers coach, Tennessee football offered another scholarship to a 2018 prospect.

Butch Jones and his staff sent an offer to three-star tight end Andrew Tuazama out of Knightdale High School in Knightdale, N.C.

Tuazama, who stands at 6’6″ and 220 pounds, announced that he received the offer on his Twitter page.

Despite no national ranking, Tuazama is the No. 21 ranked player in his state on Rivals, which lists him as a three-star recruit.

He has also received offers from the East Carolina Pirates, the Miami Hurricanes, the Ole Miss Rebels, and the Purdue Boilermakers.

Like many elite high school tight ends, Tuazama shows his versatility by lining up on both sides of the ball.

He also plays defensive end, and 247Sports actually lists him as a defensive end and a tight end. However, Rivals lists him only as a tight end.

And that’s a position that is loaded in Knoxville but one that Tennessee football utilizes a lot. So Knoxville could be a great place for him.
