Tennessee basketball takes on the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge Wednesday. Here is the Volunteers’ preview, including streaming, game time, and television.

After a terrible February that saw them go 2-5 and lose four of their past five games, Tennessee basketball will be looking to get back on track in March.

With two regular season games left and then the SEC Tournament, Rick Barnes’s Vols have a lot of work to do just to get back on the NCAA Tournament bubble.

That starts with what should be an easy win Wednesday night against the LSU Tigers on the road. With a 9-19 record and 1-15 SEC record, LSU should be easily beatable.

However, this young Tennessee basketball team is so unpredictable that you don’t know what will happen.

Here is all the information you need for the game.

Tennessee Volunteers at LSU Tigers

When: Wednesday, March 1 at 7 p.m.

Where: Pete Maravich Assembly Center; Baton Rouge, La.

TV: SEC Network Plus

Live Stream: WatchESPN

Line: Tennessee -5.5

Over/Under: 156

At 15-14 and 7-9 in the SEC with a No. 66 ranking in the RPI, beating the Tigers does nothing for the Vols. Losing to them, though, is a killer. So they need to win this game.

That at least gets them above .500 by RPI standards since one of their wins is not recognized by the computers.

Then, if they can beat the Alabama Crimson Tide at home on Saturday, they might be back on the bubble.

But it will take probably two SEC Tournament wins to really make a case to actually be in the tournament. So Tennessee basketball has lots of work to do.

It starts with winning this game on the road.
