The Southeastern Conference opponents for the 2017-2018 Tennessee Lady Vols are out. Here is who the women’s basketball Volunteers will play.

The schedule has not been fully put together yet, and we already know that SEC teams all play each other, but now we know how many times the Tennessee Lady Vols play each SEC opponent for the year and where they’ll play them.

Tennessee’s list of 2017-2018 SEC opponents was released on Tuesday.

According to UTSports, the Tennessee Lady Vols have to play the defending national champion South Carolina Gamecocks twice this upcoming year, unlike this past year.

But the good news is they swap them out with the Mississippi State Bulldogs, whom they only have to play once this year. And they get them at home.

The two other teams that finished ahead of Tennessee in the 2016-2017 women’s SEC standings, the Kentucky Wildcats and Missouri Tigers, both face the Vols only once.

However, Holly Warlick’s team plays each of them on the road, making things much more difficult.

The schedule is not as bad as it could have been, and quite honestly, the list of opponents is so far from the first thing Tennessee Lady Vols fans are worried about right now.

With the loss of Diamond DeShields and Te’a Cooper this month and Warlick’s drama with her Twitter account, the time to worry about the state of the program has more than arrived.

Tennessee’s women’s basketball program has a lot of things to work out despite the No. 1 recruiting class this past year.

And worrying about the schedule is way far down the list.
