Kevin Durant made an angry face when Peyton Manning roasted him at the ESPY Awards show. Here are the best jokes on social media of the ESPYS incident.

Less than 24 hours after Kevin Durant gave Peyton a glare for a joke he made while hosting the ESPYS, the internet set on fire.

In case you completely ignored it, Manning joked that the U.S. Gymnastics team was so great Kevin Durant may want to join it next year, obviously making a joking reference to him joining the Golden State Warriors to win an NBA Finals championship.

Durant gave a glare, but Manning went further and said he doesn’t think KD would be able to start for that team. Then he took it to another level by asking Russell Westbrook for his opinion on it.

Well, that was all the internet needed, and it set off a series of memes and GIFs. Here is a look at some of the funniest ones.

Overall, this just further proves that Peyton Manning was a smash success at hosting the ESPYS. Like always, it was clear he prepared.

But it paid off.

As a result, it was definitely worth watching. He had many funny moments all night, and this just happened to take the cake as the funniest moment.

Meanwhile, KD might need to develop some thicker skin. Of course, he may have been in on the joke and we don’t know it. But it doesn’t seem likely.

Ironically, Manning and Durant do have a bit of a Tennessee connection. Durant played for current Tennessee basketball coach Rick Barnes at Texas.
