Butch Jones takes on ESPN Monday – Mike Strange, Knoxville News Sentinel

As he did the ESPN car wash, Tennessee Vols coach Butch Jones was out clearing the air in many ways. That includes addressing the fact that 2016 was, indeed, a disappointment and taking on Paul Finebaum. Jones responded to Finebaum’s criticism of the program under him then took him head on, only to see Finebaum soften his attitude in a weird twist.

"Tennessee coach Butch Jones said Monday during his visit to the ESPN “car wash” that not winning a championship in 2016 was a disappointment and competing for SEC championships is the “next evolution of our football program.”"

Berry ended last year on a season-ending injury, but he looks to be a factor in the secondary this year and once again a crucial piece on special teams.

"The winner and his family will be honored at the annual Paul Hornung Award Banquet presented by KentuckyOne Health, to be held at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville on March 8, 2018. This will be The Paul Hornung Award’s second year as an associate member of the prestigious National College Football Awards Association."
