The Tennessee Vols continue chugging along to get ready for the start of football season, and that continues to be a huge part of our morning news updates.
But today’s news on Rocky Top addresses other things to. For starters, football is not the only season set to begin. There are other fall sports right around the corner, and the UT athletic director addressing the start to the year overall also is a part of today’s news.
Then there’s a more serious topic with a former Tennessee football coach that we’ll get to. It’s one that needs more activism than it’s getting.
But first, here’s a look at how the football program is progressing.

Tennessee Vols athletic director John Currie wrote another letter to Vol Nation and published it Wednesday.
