Tennessee football is 1-0 after a 42-41 double-overtime win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Here are photos from the Volunteers’ victory.

Throughout this game, the likelihood of Tennessee football pulling off a win was significantly below 50 percent until the final play. Darrel Taylor had an amazing stop on Georgia Tech’s two-point conversion attempt in the second overtime to get the Vols to 1-0.

Thanks to that, two missed field goals and two turnovers, Tennessee football won its seventh straight neutral site game. The Vols survived Paul Johnson’s triple-option.

And they also broke their Atlanta curse for good with their second straight win in that city.

Here is a look at some of the photos from Tennessee football’s huge win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

There’s no denying that Tennessee football had no business winning this game. The Vols required just enough lucky breaks and some poor coaching from Paul Johnson for it to happen. However, they did some nice things on their own. And so we can’t take all credit from Butch Jones’s team. This just means they have a ton of stuff to work on before the next game.
