Tennessee Vols morning report: Football roster updates, Big 12-SEC challenge
Tennessee Vols football roster updates and the Big 12 vs. SEC challenge headline the Volunteers news for Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017.
The celebration of the Tennessee Vols’ unlikely victory over Georgia Tech probably could have gone on a bit longer. But if Butch Jones’s team is going to recover from the short week, they have to go ahead and focus on Indiana State now.
Jones did just that with his updates on the team Wednesday. His roster updates lead our news for you on Rocky Top this Thursday morning.
But on top of that, there is news in other sports to bring you. We’ve got times for a specific basketball challenge this upcoming season. And there’s a soccer game to preview.
Football, though, is still the talk of the town. So let’s get to the news there before anything else we decide to talk about.

"With Jennings out, Marquez Callaway’s role will grow. Against Georgia Tech, Callaway had four receptions – all after halftime – for 115 yards with two touchdowns."
