Following a game they had no business losing, Tennessee football has to get ready for its next showdown. Fortunately for the Vols and Butch Jones’s squad, this one is against a very easy opponent.

Tennessee faces a UMass Minutemen team that is 0-4 with losses to Coastal Carolina and Old Dominion. Just like the Indiana State Sycamores two Saturdays ago, the Vols will be looking to get in control of this game early.

As we get ready to take a look at the key Tennessee football players in this game, that is going to be our focus. Which Vols can take control early in order to make this an easy win?

After all, the injuries are already beginning to pile up in Knoxville. And after three games in 13 days, that can happen. So the Vols need as much of a breather as possible, something they actually didn’t get when they played Indiana St.

With Butch Jones’s seat hotter than ever, this is also a time for him to reflect and try to correct things. So a noon game against a terrible team is just what they need.
