Tennessee Vols football injuries, Albert Haynesworth and the Lady Vols’ SEC TV slate lead the Volunteers news for Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017.

Thursday is here, and it’s about time to get ready for another round of football games. Of course, if you’re the Tennessee Vols, it’s a weekend to get over the horrific loss of last week.

However, the season still goes on. And Rocky Top has a light game against the UMass Minutemen this weekend, but there are other games they can focus on.

More updates looking ahead to that game are a huge part of our morning news. But they aren’t the only thing.

We’ve also got some odd drama from two former Vols, notably a former football superstar, to bring you. And there is some women’s basketball news as well.

Let’s star with this former Vols drama.
