No surprise here. The Missouri Tigers have proved me right all season long as we have done these SEC Power Rankings. Drew Lock’s 72 points against Missouri State was a complete fraud, and everything about this team is terrible.

It’s time to go ahead and start questioning Barry Odom as well. The guy may only be in his second year, and he did inherit a program in shambles.

But he’s a defensive coach, and right now he’s coaching one of the worst defenses you could ever find in football.

Meanwhile, the offense continues to sputter against any competent competition. This Mizzou team could look even worse than last year’s team, and it looks like the wheels really have fallen off the program.

They finally get a bye week to correct a few things, but right now it seems like this team can’t beat anybody.

The Auburn Tigers did to them exactly what we expected them to do following their loss to the Purdue Boilermakers a week before. So honestly, it’s hard to add anything this week.

Missouri is simply a terrible football team. And it doesn’t get any easier after their bye week.

They then have to face the Kentucky Wildcats and Georgia Bulldogs on the road, which likely gets them to 1-5. Idaho and UConn are after that, so they could at least get back to 3-5. But it’s hard to see them winning any other games the rest of the year.

So they’ll probably be living in this spot in our SEC Power Rankings.
