The Tennessee Volunteers have not moved at all from their low ranking for weeks now in our SEC Power Rankings. And they remain there after Week 7.

And then there were two. We already had only two undefeated teams in the Southeastern Conference. But the SEC Power Rankings now move from three clear elite teams to just two clear elite teams.

One major upset over the weekend shook everything up. Meanwhile, the Tennessee Vols are boringly stuck in the same bad spot once again.

As we get set to bring you our SEC Power Rankings following week 7 of the 2017 college football season, those shake-ups changed a ton. We thought we had a solid breakdown of how the conference is shaking up.

But a team that appeared to be dead in the water a few weeks ago is now shooting up the list. And a team that was thriving has run out of luck and continues to fall down each week.

One thing that is clear is that the top two teams and the bottom two teams in the conference stand apart from everybody else. The rest of the league appears to just be breeding regular mediocrity.

However, they could all beat each other. And they have all shown potential to lose to each other as well. That’s just how the conference is working.

Meanwhile, the teams from Tennessee continue to flirt with the bottom of the conference since they’re a combined 0-7 in league play. So let’s see where they and everybody else rank. These are our SEC Power Rankings following Week 7.
