Tennessee football fans have been in full force across the entire state with signs calling for the firing of Volunteers head coach Butch Jones.

Needless to say, Tennessee football head coach Butch Jones has not had a good month. Ever since the loss to the Florida Gators, he’s been on the hot seat. Then came the loss to the Georgia Bulldogs, and the most of the fans then supported his firing.

But following a loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks off a bye, this week has been particularly brutal for the fifth-year coach of the Vols. And with the Alabama Crimson Tide up next, the dread is spreading across the state.

All three major Tennessee sports teams played home games this week on Monday, Tuesday and then Wednesday. And they all had ‘Fire Butch Jones’ signs make it on television.

The first was on Monday Night Football, when the Tennessee Titans hosted the Indianapolis Colts en route to a 36-22 victory.

After that came the Nashville Predators on Tuesday. They hosted the Colorado Avalanche that night en route to a 4-1 victory.

And then came the Memphis Grizzlies’ home opener Wednesday night. There were two separate signs that made the waves throughout social media there.

By the way, completing the sweep, the Grizzlies won too, 103-91.

We’re not sure if that’s a sign, but with all three teams winning, it’s clear that the state sports teams thrive when calls for Butch Jones to be fired make it to their games.

If the trolling wasn’t enough, it made it to a grocery store Thursday morning.

This is clearly not good for Butch Jones. Tennessee football is 3-3 right now, and everybody expects the bottom to fall out with a loss to Alabama. What if, amidst all of this, he pulls off the greatest upset ever?

Haha. Just kidding. Nobody in the world would bet on that happening. But it is scary just how done with the program under Butch Jones the Vols fans are. It’s almost as if there’s destiny for him to pull off the upset. Okay, just kidding again.
