While morale among Tennessee football fans is as low as ever, we can say on our site that we might be getting back on track. As the Vols have their scariest, most daunting, and potentially most devastating match-up this week, we’re on track to get our gambling picks heading in the right direction this year.
After a week of no Top 25 match-ups, we’ve got two exciting non-conference Top 25 games to bring you this week. On top of that, we’ve got five SEC games to bring you. Four of those games involve two SEC teams playing each other. That gives us seven games overall.
Before we get set to look ahead to this weekend, let’s recap how we did last weekend. This is a look at how our predictions stand now.
Record for Week 7 predictions: 5-2
Against the spread: 4-3
On the Over/Under: 5-2

As you can see, we’re back on track. We’re still under water, but after four straight losing weeks against the spread, getting above .500 for a week is a good sign.
On top of that, were it not for one bad quarter by both the Auburn Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs, we’d be back above water on the spread. We definitely pulled away on the over/under.
And with Tennessee football games, we moved to 2-3 against the spread after last week. Once this week comes, we’ll be 3-3, but that may not be a good thing.
