With every passing day that Butch Jones still has a job, Tennessee Vols fans grow more and more frustrated. Nevertheless, he’s still the head coach of the football program, and he addressed the media on Monday.

However, there’s a bit of good news on the track and field front. But we’ll get to that at the end. Let’s start with football.

"Kelly made it clear the Vols must do what they can to keep their quarterback from being pummeled every play.Jarrett Guarantano took quite the beating from the South Carolina and Alabama defenses in his first two starts at Tennessee, and though the redshirt freshman has shown some toughness by continually popping up or pulling himself off the turf, Kelly believes it’s time to for the rest of the players on the offense to make it stop."
