Power Forward

1. Cheridene Green

We are once again going back to players with experience. But in Cheridene Green’s case, she is a player with no official experience in games with the Lady Vols. Once junior college transfer who hails from London, England, Green is coming off a redshirt year. A junior in the program, she is coming off of injury. But at 6’3″, she has talent, size and experience.

As a result, we project that Holly Warlick will be able to plug her right in at power forward for the Tennessee Lady Vols and have her make an immediate impact. Green was an NJCAA All-American power forward in 2015-2016 from ASA College in Brooklyn. She has also had a year in the system with Warlick and the Tennessee Lady Vols, so she should be ready to go.

As a result, again, we project Green to make an immediate impact. And that’s why Warlick will start her at this position.

2. Kamera Harris

As a freshman last year, Kamera Harris only saw action in seven games. However, again, with Warlick wanting to provide more depth, she’ll likely have an increased role this year. Green will still probably be the starter, but Harris should be able to provide more help when needed.

At 6’3″, the sophomore is officially listed as a center. And in the post game overall, she’s likely going to be the last person to come onto the floor. However, when we break down the depth chart, she’s second in the power forward spot.
