Did UT OL played at UK with concussion?Trey Wallace and Oliver Connolly, The Read Optional

Tennessee Vols offensive lineman Brett Kendrick allegedly played at Kentucky after suffering a concussion, according to a report. According to a source, the staff knowingly kept him in the game with the injury.

"“He is resting in a dark room. He doesn’t remember anything about the second half of the game.” A text received by The Read Optional reads. “They left him in until the last 22 seconds and only pulled him out because he finally threw up on the sideline.”"

Jones, Currie speak on Kendrick controversy – Rob Lewis, VolQuest

Following up on the controversy surrounding Brett Kendrick, Tennessee Vols head coach Butch Jones noted that he would be out Saturday’s game against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. However, he denied any accusations of what happened last Saturday. He noted he has no say in the decision to put a player back in the game anyway if he’s hurt.

"“John Currie issued a statement earlier today and I’ll tell you this, we would never knowingly put a student athlete in harm’s way,” Jones said, going on to add that the decision wasn’t even in his hands once an injured player was identified. “Our medical staff has full authority on removing players from competition and also have the authority to return players to competition.”"

Antone Davis resigns as VFL coordinator – Grant Ramey, GoVols247

Former Tennessee Vols offensive lineman Antone Davis has resigned as the Vol for Life coordinator, a position he has held since 2012.

"Sources told GoVols247 that Davis believed he was part of a hostile work environment. He resigned to pursue job opportunities outside of athletics. This season he was made to drive to and from away games if he wanted to travel, after flying on team charters in the past. Davis was only allowed to travel, sources said, if he supplied his own travel arrangements."
