The epic early signing period for Tennessee Vols football is the focus of our All for Tennessee video show for Thursday, Dec. 21.

Tennessee Vols fans are still reveling from the great day that was the early signing period in Knoxville. Hey, they have to be excited about something, right? Well, I spent a lot of time on our Periscope show talking about that.

In fact, it was the biggest story of the day. There are numerous reasons the early signing period was awesome, and in addition to viewing the show, you can go to our site to read some of our posts about it.

We’ll have a quick summary of what we covered below. But here’s a viewing of the show, first.

Summary

1. Tennessee Vols dominate in the early signing period.

This was a part of our morning report as well, but it deserves a ton of attention. Jeremy Pruitt was awesome in the early signing period, and it was important to go into detail why. I referenced this post about the most awesome parts of the early signing period. There are also details as to why the Vols should reshape their expectations going forward as a result.

2. Men’s basketball struggling vs. Furman isn’t a big deal.

Tennessee Vols basketball struggled to put away the Furman Paladins Wednesday night and will face the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on the road Saturday. I went into detail as to why it’s not a big deal for them to struggle with Furman and what Wake Forest means.

3. Lady Vols facing No. 18 Stanford Cardinal

With an 11-0 record and this the final game before the beginning of SEC play, the Tennessee Vols women’s basketball team has an opportunity on the road against the Stanford Cardinal. This is a dangerous team that’s only 6-5 with losses to some really good teams. But beating Stanford would salvage some specific demons to prove Holly Warlick has this team back in its Pat Summitt days. I talk about that in the show.
