The holiday season is here, and the Tennessee Vols are a program in transition. This is the Christmas wish list for Volunteers fans in 2017.

It’s the final weekend before Christmas. With the holiday season fully underway, Tennessee Vols fans have a lot more to be thankful for than they had when Thanksgiving was going on. But that doesn’t mean they don’t have a lot to hope for.
In honor of the final weekday before Christmas hits, we figured we’d write our own letter to Santa Claus on behalf of Rocky Top. Given the chaos of late November and early December in Knoxville, they’ve already gotten two wishes fulfilled: stability and confidence.
Now, it’s time to think of what they need on the field and on the court. The program has a lot of things to look forward to coming up, and we’re keeping tabs on all the things that would be good for it.
New athletic director Phillip Fulmer hasn’t even been on the job for a month. But you know he will do his best to make sure Tennessee football, Tennessee basketball, Tennessee women’s basketball and a variety of other sports are all at their best.
The Tennessee Vols provide fans with a lot to be excited about. However, right now, it’s a bit gloomy.
And that’s where the Christmas list comes in. There’s just a few more things the program needs to have everything.

So let’s take Rocky Top back to its childhood and write this letter to Santa on its behalf. These are the five things that should be on the Christmas wish list for every Tennessee Vols fan.
