Tennessee Lady Vols preview vs. Auburn Tigers: Live stream, game time, TV
The undefeated Tennessee Lady Vols look to add to their streak Thursday. Here is the streaming, game time and TV info for the women’s basketball Volunteers.
At 13-0 and 1-0 in the SEC, the No. 7 ranked Tennessee Lady Vols will be trying to continue their red-hot start to the season Thursday night. Holly Warlick’s team will host the Auburn Tigers, their first home game in three and a half weeks.
Despite being one of four remaining undefeated teams in the Top 25, Tennessee’s schedule strength has been called into question. It was flirting with dropping outside of the Top 100 at one point. However, now it’s up to No. 66, which finally got them into the Top 10 of the RPI.
The Auburn Tigers are 10-3 and 1-0 in the SEC, but their RPI is No. 102 due to their No. 233 ranked schedule strength. As a result, this is a game the Lady Vols need to win. The Tigers desperately want to prove they are a good team, and this is their first real chance.
Here is all the information you need for Thursday’s game.
Auburn Tigers at No. 7 Tennessee Lady Volunteers
When: Thursday, Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. E.T.
Where: Thompson Boling Arena; Knoxville, Tenn.
TV: SEC Network Plus
Live Stream: WatchESPN
After facing Auburn, the Lady Vols will take on the 4-11 Vanderbilt Commodores. These two games are likely to do very little for them as far as national recognition.
However, the next four games after that will all be against Top 25 teams: the Texas A&M Aggies, South Carolina Gamecocks, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Mississippi State Bulldogs. Three of those teams are in the Top 5, and two are undefeated.
That is when this undefeated streak will really be put to the test. But before focusing on that, they do not want to lay an egg against Auburn or Vanderbilt. So yes, these games are important.
