Previewing the Tennessee Vols basketball game against Missouri, the West Virginia football line lead our periscope video show for Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018.

The news kept rolling on for the Tennessee Vols last night and today, and we had a lot to discuss on our periscope show as a result. Wednesday’s coverage included more on the basketball schedule and some football updates.

Another men’s basketball game on the schedule led the way, and then a football point spread along with more recruiting took the cake. All of this was relevant and made for a very entertaining segment with lots to discuss.

So let’s bring the recap to you. Here is our periscope show for Wednesday, Jan. 17. You can look below it for a summary of what we talked about.

1. Tennessee Vols basketball vs. Missouri Tigers and Cuonzo Martin

The Tennessee men’s basketball program visits the Missouri Tigers Wednesday night on the heels of a three-game winning streak. This is a huge game because it’s one of two road games this week, the other being against the South Carolina Gamecocks. We discuss what these games mean for the season, and we also go into detail about the Vols facing Cuonzo Martin for the first time since he left the school in 2014.

2. Tennessee football line vs. West Virginia

The opening line is out for the Tennessee Vols’ season opener against the Mountaineers. WVU is a touchdown favorite. On the show, I go into detail as to why that’s far too high.

3. Tennessee football pursuing a graduate transfer at quarterback.

Yesterday, we discussed the fact that Quinten Dormady’s transfer doesn’t guarantee Jarrett Guarantano to be the starter for the Tennessee Vols next Fall. JT Shrout still has a chance to take the quarterback role. That possibility increased with the news of the Vols pursuing a graduate transfer from FCS whom respected NFL analysts have been praising. We discuss that player.
