Jauan Jennings was always vocal when he played for Tennessee football. On Thursday, he had an Instagram post suggesting he’s back with the Volunteers.

Earlier this week, we heard reports that Jauan Jennings has returned to Tennessee football with stipulations. Then we learned that he had enrolled in classes. And we already knew that Phillip Fulmer met with him and Jeremy Pruitt was planning to meet with him.

But without any official confirmation, another update Thursday once again suggested Jennings is back with the Vols. A few reporters got hold of an Instagram photo he posted after scoring a touchdown against the Missouri Tigers back in 2016.

In the post, Jennings said, ‘Vol Nation one last season ! Support has to be there like never before !!!!’ There was more writing that followed.

However, the overall gist of the matter is clear. He is hinting that he’s back with the Tennessee football program.

At this point, it’s got to be safe to assume that Jennings is back with the program. Given all the evidence we provided, it would be extremely hard to assume anything else.

However, it’s clear that he’s back on the team with stipulations. There is no denying that what he did to warrant his dismissal was incredibly stupid, even if the previous coaching staff had no right to do it.

The biggest story in all this, though, is the fact that Jennings could immediately help the Vols next year. They need offensive weapons as much as possible. And when you have him on one side and Marquez Callaway on the other, Jeremy Pruitt and his staff at least have guys to throw to. That’s a great start for whomever the next quarterback is going to be.
